I Love it, but where do I put it?

If you are like me, you see lots of things that you love, but don't have a clear idea of what in the world you would do with them when you get them home! I have a very strong personal policy that if I like it enough, there IS a place for it somewhere, drives my hubs crazy! It has been requested by some of you for me to show some of my decorating tips, so I decided to try something different. On occasion, I am going to show you all what I do with some of the things I offer and maybe give you some ideas too!
This is our upstairs bathroom, it belongs to our 11 year old son. The walls are painted a robins egg blue with a metallic silver glaze. Yes, that is a mirror-on-mirror that you see! When we built the house, I hated the standard builder grade mirrors in the bathrooms and unfortunately, they are hung with some sort of adhesive that will probably survive armageddon! So, I did the next best thing and hung a mirror right over the existing one! Pretty clever, huh? I would LOVE to take the credit for this ingenious idea, but I saw it in a magazine a long, long time ago! Love, love, love the look!
You have seen these before, I made this tray for him to keep all his "toiletries" on, he is wearing cologne now, isn't that cute?!
Customized trays $30.00
I am ALL about DIY projects, if I can't find what I am looking for, I will make it myself! I made this shower curtain when I couldn't find one masculine enough for this bathroom, it was really easy. Hint: Hang your shower curtain right below the ceiling line, it looses some of that standard shower look and is much more dramatic!
This canvas has the verse "Sons are a heritage from the Lord" Psalms 127:3
Customized canvas $25.00

Funny story, when Jace saw this, he asked me, "Mom, why are guns a heritage to the Lord?"! What's wrong son, having a hard time reading that fancy Old World script?!!
I hope you picked up a few helpful hints and some new ideas. I definitely enjoyed having you, have a blessed day and come back soon!
